The Character

The interview for this podcast is not a real interview. To make it more engaging and appealing for the audience, I choose to use script interview instead.
There will be two characters as the interviewee. As this podcast topic is about cyberbullying, the guests will be the victim and the bully.

The character and personality between two of them will be different.
For the bully, I choose a guy with the strong and high tune voice to play the character.
The Bully character will be more defensive as he will defend himself several times during the interview. However, there will be mix of the defensive attitude, guilt feeling and regretful in the bully character. For the further personality of the bully, he is just a normal person with a common high school teenager's attitude who is looking for acceptance in their community.Unfortunately, his attempt to get acceptance caused him engage in cyberbullying which then will be told by the character while I interview him.

In reverse, the character for the victim of cyberbullying will be more introvert, shy and suffer emotionally.
I choose woman to play the bully character because of the woman stereotype who tend to be the victim of cyberbullying.
Moreover, women usually express their feeling through crying which hopefully can evoke the empathy from the audience while hear it.
The victim suffering will be conveyed through one of the scene while she rejects to continue the interview.

I will play the character for the interviewer. My character is indulgent,maternal and tolerant. As this podcast is my media tool for my social campaign : FIGHT FACEBOOK CYBERBULLYING,hence I have to represent the supportive attitude as the ambassador.
